Do not worry about inner or outer conditions when saying the Name of Amida Buddha
Question: What is the right attitude when worshipping Amida Buddha? What is the best way to worship Amida? What inner or outer conditions we must meet in order to worship Amida?
My answer: Be relaxed and respectful. This is the right attitude towards Amida Buddha. Be relaxed like a child in the presence of his parent and respectful like a disciple in the presence of his Master. Amida Buddha is both our dear spiritual Parent and our Master or Guru. He loves us like a true parent and guides us as the perfect Master.[1]
The best way to worship Amida Buddha is to say His Name in faith (Namo Amida Bu). Why? Because this is what He said we should do in His Primal Vow[2]. When we say Amida's Name (Nembutsu) we should NOT worry about inner or outer conditions:

A simple analogy between Vajrayana and Jodo Shinshu to help undecided practitioners
As you may know, in Vajrayana you cannot successfully practice without empowerment. When you receive empowerment from a realized Master you become connected with and blessed by an uninterrupted lineage of transmission which starts with a Buddha and continues with a series of Enlightened Masters. Then your practice can be successful if you are serious and put all your efforts into it. Without this empowerment and connection, your practice will not lead to realization. Also, once empowerment was given you must follow a samaya, that is, a specific set of rules and practices. However, breaking this samaya without repairing it will lead to birth in Vajra Hell.

Honen Shonin's letter to nun Shonyobo
“I am very sorry indeed to hear about Shonyobo’s illness. Having heard that she is ill, in fact seriously so, I should like to go and see her, and make sure whether she is going right on with the practice of the Nembutsu up to the very end; but especially so when I remember how often she used to call upon me to ask questions about the way of salvation. So as soon as word reached me, I at once wanted to go and see her. But I had just before that decided upon the special Nembutsu practice (Nembutsu retreat) for some days, and not to go out of my chamber for anything whatsoever. Now circumstances have so changed, that I am tempted to reverse my decision and go at once to see her. But on further reflection I have come to feel that, after all, it does not matter one way or the other about such interchanges of courtesy in this world, for the fact is that we are in danger anyway of becoming foolishly attached to these earthly bodies of ours. No matter who it is, no one stays forever here in this fleshly body. The only difference is that either I myself or someone else must be left behind and the other go first. Then if we think of the interval of time that will separate us, that too is uncertain. And even though they may call it long, at the longest it is only like a short dream. So no matter how many times I think it over, the more I am convinced that the thing to do is to think only of our meeting in the land of Amida Buddha where, as we sit upon our lotus flowers, the cares of this world will have all clear away, and we shall converse together about the scenes and events of our past lives.

More on modern divergences from Jodo Shinshu teaching
I invite you all to read it, and meditate on it, especially on the quotes presented there from the sacred writings.
One of the reasons I post other people's articles, discussions, letters on the topic of modern divergences is to show to the international Shinshu sangha that there are many, not only me, who are tired of seeing the Dharma being distorted with ideas and opinions that can't be found in the writings of the Masters of our school. I also hope that others will find the courage to speak.

Remember your guru – Amida Buddha
When you are happy, think of Amida, when you are sad, think of Amida, when you meet favorable circumstances, be grateful to Amida, and when you meet obstacles, pray to Amida and rely on Him alone.
When you are sitting, think that Amida is in front of you. When you walk, think that He walks with you. When you read a Dharma text, think that He is helping you to understand it. When you are eating or drinking, offer Him the first portion and the first drop. Whenever you wear new clothes or you start using a new nenju (mala/Buddhist rosary), first offer them to Amida and then wear them as if He had given them back to you. You can do the same with the food or water that you offer to Amida at your home altar. After you place fruits, cookies or water on the altar, bow and gratefully receive them as if they are given back to you by Amida.
Whatever you offer to Amida Buddha is blessed by Amida so I encourage you to always make offerings in the name of all beings. Enjoy Amida’s presence and think that He is always watching you.
Namo Amida Bu
PS: Everything else beside the relaxed saying of Nembutsu is optional in our tradition, so whatever I teach on daily devotions is not a requirement, but a suggestion if you'd feel like doing something more to enjoy your personal relation with Amida Buddha.

The inexcusable gesture of the Dalai Lama trying to tongue kiss a boy

Members of Amidaji: Shaku Daishin (Germany)
I am a Buddhist since 25 years, practiced in the
tibetan Karma Kagyu and Gelug Tradition and studied Buddhist philosophy for 3.5
years under Geshe Thubten Ngawang from the Tibetan Center in Hamburg.
During all my years of practice, study and receiving
Dharma Teachings from many teachers - Lamas, Rinpoches and even HH the Dalai
Lama, I did not make any progress. I always failed in whatever I did and tried
to practice. I even stopped all my practice and did not meditate for two years.
Then I started again, because I knew my Destination was Vajra Hell, after
breaking all my vows and samayas.
I started reciting the Mantra of Guru Rinpoche (Padmasambhava),
who is an Emanation of Amida Tatagatha. I asked for advice what I should do -
and after one year Amida Buddha's light shined through and I became aware of
Amida Dharma. Now I know, by the boundless compassion of Amida Buddha and His
Primal Vow that I am saved. My destination is not Vajra Hell, my destination is
Amida's Pure Land, where I will overcome all my hatred, my greed, my Illusions
- all my blind passions.
I am so grateful to have met Rev. Josho because I know
that he is teaching the true Amida Dharma as it is taught by the Venerable
Master Shinran and Master Rennyo. I am grateful for being a member of Amida-ji
International Temple and being a Student of Josho Sensei.
I am saved. How can i express my joy?
No more please...just a big Thank you, Amida Buddha!
Mi
Estoy salvado. ¿Cómo puedo expresar mi alegría?
No
más por favor... ¡solo un gran agradecimiento al Buda Amida!
(Maestro
Shinran)
