pictures from the place of the future Amida-ji temple

photo 1:
This part of my parents house with separate entrance, will be used as guests room and library. It contains a long corridor and a room (still under heavy repair) The guest room will be used as a practice hall until the Hondo is finished..

photo2:
The house of my parents as seen from the location of the future Hondo (Main Hall) of the temple. The Buddhist flag marks the place of the Hondo.

yes, Vincent, its a beautiful temple now. But I presume they had even from the beginning a lot of land, while I have only a small parcel. They also had more funds. Maybe in that Zen sangha, they have obligatory fees for every member, while we here don't have fees and the access to practice and teaching is entirely free, only donations are accepted. Or maybe they had a rich donor or donors. Usually, Zen and tibetan communities are the largest and the richestin Europe and elsewhere.

oh... ok it's not the same thing...
and a special donation had done by each members who want (a special "fuse" in fact), furthermore yes rich donor give for that.

when "we" buy the temple it was a inn where people pratice horse ride
and the current dojo was a real stable... O_O ! ... very dirty ... look the dojo now!!! ^^ its not the same! a big work had done by the permanent(i wasn't)

courage for your temple !!! ^^

p.s:you said "we here don't have fees and the access to practice and teaching is entirely free, only donations are accepted"
i'm surprising it like the catholic church in fact ...

But compare the situation of catholic church and methodist or pentecôtist church in the world.... this last grow up ...it's not like the first...
donation is not the same ...

If I had already had a stable, even a dirty one, to transform it into a dojo...
But, thank you very much for your encouragements. I hope that I will be able to post some good news very soon. For the moment, I have no news.
